Our cutting boards are crafted with care and precision, using primarily Cherry, Maple, and Walnut — three of the most trusted hardwoods for food-safe, long-lasting kitchenware. Each board is built to be both beautiful and functional, adding warmth and craftsmanship to any kitchen.

What you are buying:

  • Thoughtful wood selection with regards to both grain direction and imperfections. this ensures less stress is put on the joints of a bord reducing the chance of splitting after years of use.
  • Hand beveled edges I use a block plane to chamfer the edges of all of the boards, leaving a clean edge rather than a round over.
  • Card scraped finish As the final step before applying cutting board oil, we pop the grain with water, followed by severing the raised fibers with the bur of a card scraper rather than grinding them down with sand paper. We feel this results in a better feeling board.

Sizing Guide

In order to ensure a decent production run for the holiday season we stick with our two most popular sizes

Medium edge grain board - Sized at 9"x13" this board is lightweight and sized for daily use. Perfect for preparing dinner or displaying charcuterie. This board basically lives on your drying rack ready for your next meal prep.

Large edge grain board - Sized at 11.5" to 15.5" use this board for anything from braking down a whole chicken to cutting up a personal pizza straight out of your oven. Large enough for large tasks, manageable enough to clean in your sink.

Care Instructions

With regular use and washing, your cutting board will naturally dry out. To prevent warping or cracking, replenish it regularly with a food-grade mineral oil. With proper care, your board will last for many, many years!

How to oil your board

Apply a generous amount of cutting board oil to all surfaces, including the edges. Continue applying until the oil stops soaking in and begins pooling on the surface. Let the board sit for 10 minutes, then wipe off any excess oil with a clean cloth.

For daily use, re-oiling every 2–3 weeks is usually sufficient. Your board will be ready for re-oiling when it looks dull after washing and drying completely.

How to clean your board

Wash your cutting board with warm water and dish soap. Avoid scalding hot water, as it can dry out the wood. Make sure to wet the entire surface of the board evenly—don’t just clean one side!—to prevent uneven moisture absorption.

Air dry the board by leaning it against a wall or drying rack to ensure even airflow around it. This will prevent warping.

It’s a myth that wood cutting boards retain more bacteria. Feel free to use your board for cutting meat—just give it a good clean after!

Enjoy your handmade cutting board!
