Solid wood candy display at The Village Confectionary, with angled bins filled with wrapped candy

Commercial Work

Display pieces that make a shop feel like home

I specialize in building authentic, all-wood freestanding display pieces that help shop spaces feel more warm and inviting.

What I offer is the ability to work with you to achieve the vision for your shop space, and the design experience to build one-of-a-kind pieces purpose-built for your particular use.

I work hand in hand with your contractor, providing elevations and design plans for cabinetry, so the specific look you want for your store is achieved and key details are shared across your store, from the wood and the finish to the exact dimensions of your space.

How we work together

1. Tell me about your shop

Share your space, your products and the look you're after. Photos, floor plans and inspiration images all help.

2. Work with your contractor

I provide elevations and design plans for cabinetry, and coordinate directly with your contractor on measurements, finishes and timing, so every piece fits the space and the schedule.

3. Design and build

I send drawings for your approval, then build each solid wood piece by hand.

4. Deliver

I deliver the finished pieces so they're in place and ready for your customers.

From design to finished piece

Before anything is built, I draw it. For The Village Confectionary I created a 3D model, elevations, shelf details and a floor plan, so you, your contractor and I are all working from the same plan.

From the workshop

Every display starts as rough lumber in my shop. I mill, join and finish each piece by hand, and I share progress along the way so you and your contractor can see it come together.
